A Genset (Generator Set) is the essential power source for refrigerated containers (Reefers) when they are disconnected from a shore-side power grid. These diesel-powered generators ensure that temperature-sensitive cargo—such as frozen foods, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals—remains at the precise required temperature during over-the-road transport or rail transit.
We offer two primary configurations to fit your logistics setup: Undermount and Clip-On units. Both are engineered for high reliability, fuel efficiency, and long-running performance in extreme weather conditions.

- Which Type Do You Need?1. Undermount Genset (As shown in image):
Specifically designed to be permanently or semi-permanently mounted to the container chassis.- Benefit: Leaves the container front clear for easy access and can stay with the trailer even when switching containers. It provides a lower center of gravity for the truck.
2. Clip-On Genset:
Designed to mount directly to the front upper frame (the “corner castings”) of the reefer container.- Benefit: Ideal for rail transport or when the container needs to be powered while sitting on the ground without a trailer. It moves wherever the container goes.

- Engine Type: High-performance 4-cylinder diesel.
- Output: 15kW – 18.75kVA (Standard for most Reefer units).
- Fuel Tank: Large capacity (65–80 gallons) for extended run times (up to 50+ hours).
